A skincare companion that helps you understand what you are putting on your skin — without the wellness theatre. It reads labels, watches for conflicts, and adapts as your routine changes.
Mirror is the project that started as a research spike and refused to stop. The team kept finding moments where good information could replace anxious guessing. It is now an in-house product on its way to public beta.
How we built it
The approach behind the product.
- Evidence-first AI We built the knowledge layer before the AI layer. Mirror's output is grounded in research — which meant solving the harder problem of sourcing and structuring domain knowledge, not just prompting a model.
- AI with calibrated confidence The model knows what it knows. Where evidence is thin, it says so. Getting that right required careful evaluation work — not just a larger model.
- From research spike to product Mirror started as an internal research question and became a shippable product. The path from domain expertise to production AI is something we have now done end-to-end.
